- Minimum commitment
- None stated. Weight Loss Membership and Medication Plan are "charged as separate subscriptions" — cancelling one does not necessarily cancel the other.
- Cancellation notice required
- At least two (2) days before your next billing date. Note that "your first renewal may be charged early," and later renewals "may be charged and/or shipped up to two (2) days early" — so the real window can be shorter than two days.
- How you cancel
- Self-serve — in-app or online under "My Subscriptions" — or via the Customer Help Center ([email protected]) or 1-800-368-0038. You can cancel the Medication Plan alone or both together.
- Refunds
- "We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods," with refunds otherwise case-by-case at their sole discretion. Cancelling the Weight Loss Membership is treated as your direction to the pharmacy to cancel the prescription, and you will not receive any unshipped medication after the cancellation date.
- Guarantee — and its conditions
- No money-back guarantee stated in the terms.
- Early exit
- None stated.

- Minimum commitment
- None stated. Monthly or annual membership.
- Cancellation notice required
- None stated — "cancel at any time." Membership runs to the end of the current term, then does not renew.
- How you cancel
- By email — "YOU CAN CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP AT ANY TIME BY CONTACTING [email protected]." Not self-serve in an account portal.
- Refunds
- "Refunds or pro rata refunds will be provided as required by law or as otherwise stated in your account."

- Minimum commitment
- Standard monthly plans have none, but WW Clinic also sells "long term commitment plans" and "multiple-period prepayment plans" — on those you cannot cancel until the end of the whole commitment period, not the end of the month.
- Cancellation notice required
- Before the monthly processing date — or, on a long-term commitment plan, only at the end of the commitment period. They "attempt to process all cancellation requests within 72 hours after we receive your request", so leaving it to the last day is risky.
- How you cancel
- Self-serve in the site or mobile app, or by emailing [email protected], or via your Care Team or Customer Service.
- Refunds
- The subscription fee "is not refundable or cancellable once a billing period ... has started", and the full monthly fee applies "regardless of whether you participated". The initial consultation fee is explicitly non-refundable. If you are charged in error near the end of a period, Customer Service can reverse it — but not if you used the product in that period. Medical-reason cancellations are a stated exception.
- Guarantee — and its conditions
- No money-back guarantee stated in the WW Clinic agreement.
- Early exit
- No separate fee, but on a long-term commitment plan you remain liable for the fees to the end of the commitment period.

SHED
Terms checked 2026-08-11 · source
- Minimum commitment
- Two (2) full months — "All programs require a minimum commitment of two (2) full months."
- Cancellation notice required
- At least 72 hours before your next billing date (or next shipment date on multi-month plans).
- How you cancel
- Self-serve — "Cancel Subscription" link in the Member Portal, or the link in any billing confirmation.
- Refunds
- Monthly plans: "All subscription fees are non-refundable once charged," with narrow exceptions (provider discontinuation, adverse reaction). Multi-month: refunds only for the unused portion on ineligibility/adverse reaction/fulfilment failure — explicitly not for "lack of results, change of mind, or failure to follow."
- Guarantee — and its conditions
- 120-Day Guarantee requires completing four ongoing commitments (monthly coaching, weight logging, daily check-ins, provider forms) AND losing 5% of baseline weight. Prior use of the medication class disqualifies you entirely.
- Early exit
- No separate fee, but Care Membership Plans apply a "True-Up Amount" if you leave early — you repay the difference between the promotional and standard rate.

- Minimum commitment
- None stated for the subscription itself. The money-back guarantee, however, requires 90 consecutive days of continuously paid membership.
- Cancellation notice required
- At least five (5) days before the renewal processing date — and renewals "may be charged up to five (5) days before the start of your next subscription period," so the practical window is tighter than "cancel anytime" suggests.
- How you cancel
- Self-serve — "Managing your subscription through your online account" — or by contacting the Customer Help Center or calling 1-888-979-9580.
- Refunds
- "We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods," with refunds otherwise "on a case-by-case basis at our sole and absolute discretion." Membership fees charged for access to branded medication are explicitly non-refundable. Cancellation applies prospectively from the next billing period.
- Guarantee — and its conditions
- 90-day money-back guarantee, but all seven conditions must be met: 90 consecutive days of paid membership; body weight logged in the app at least weekly every week; each medication dose logged at least weekly every week; end weight equal to or greater than start weight; completed intake and an active prescription throughout; no previous refund, chargeback or credit; and the claim submitted within 14 days of the period ending. Described in their own terms as "a commercial satisfaction program only," not a medical outcome guarantee.
- Early exit
- None stated.

HealthRX

- Minimum commitment
- None on the 3-month/cancel-anytime plan. The lower advertised rate requires choosing a 12-month plan.
- Cancellation notice required
- None stated — "Cancel anytime in one click."
- How you cancel
- Self-serve, one click from your account. States it never requires a phone call or waiting out a prepaid period.
- Refunds
- Refunds any unshipped dose on cancellation. Full refund if a licensed provider does not approve you.
- Early exit
- None stated.

What to check before you enroll — in any program
- Is there a minimum term? Ask how many billing cycles you are committing to.
- What is the notice window? If it’s 72 hours, put a reminder a week before each billing date.
- Can you cancel yourself? Self-serve in an account portal is far better than “email support and wait.”
- What happens to unshipped medication? Some refund it; some don’t.
- What does the guarantee actually require? Compliance conditions and exclusions are normal — but you should know them before you rely on it.
- Is there a clawback? Promotional rates sometimes convert to standard rates retroactively if you leave early.
Why we published this even though it may cost us money
The provider with the strictest terms on this page is also one of our highest-paying affiliate partners. Documenting a two-month minimum, a 72-hour notice window and a non-refundable subscription will almost certainly reduce how many people sign up through our link.
We think that’s the correct trade. Someone who enrolls through us, gets charged for a second month they didn’t plan on, and discovers we never mentioned it has every reason never to trust us again. Our editorial policy says we recommend against things that pay us when the evidence points that way — this page is what that looks like in practice.
Frequently asked questions
Why is cancelling a GLP-1 telehealth subscription so difficult?
Almost every GLP-1 telehealth program is an auto-renewing subscription, and several add a minimum commitment plus a notice window — commonly 72 hours before your next billing date. Miss that window and you're charged for another cycle. Billing and cancellation is consistently the largest complaint category in this category, and the FTC has taken action over it: it sued the operator of NextMed for failing to adequately disclose a 12-month commitment and early-termination fees and for not processing cancellation requests in a timely way.
What is a cancellation notice window?
It is how far in advance you must cancel before your next charge. A 72-hour window means cancelling two days before renewal is too late — you pay for another month. Diarize your billing date and cancel at least a week early if you are unsure.
Are GLP-1 subscription fees refundable?
Often not. SHED’s terms state that monthly subscription fees are "non-refundable once charged," with narrow exceptions. Some providers refund unshipped doses. Read the refund clause specifically — a "money-back guarantee" in marketing is not the same as a refundable subscription.
Do money-back guarantees actually pay out?
They are conditional. SHED’s 120-Day Guarantee requires completing four ongoing commitments (monthly coaching, weight logging, daily check-ins, provider forms) and losing 5% of your baseline weight — and anyone who has previously used the medication class is excluded entirely. That is not a criticism of having conditions; it is a reason to read them before relying on the guarantee.
Comparing on price too?
The advertised price and the real all-in cost are rarely the same number.
