What's changed

GLP-1 pricing, providers, and rules move fast — so we log what we've actually updated and when. This is our changelog, not a roadmap: everything here is already live. Prices are re-checked against official sources; each provider shows its own price-check date.

  1. Update

Removed Oak Weight Loss from the provider board. Its website no longer responds and the domain now resolves to a parking page, and the affiliate program is no longer in our joined list — so we can no longer verify anything about it or send readers there. Our methodology requires removing a recommendation when a provider becomes unavailable.

  2. Pricing

Re-verified every provider price against official sources. HealthRX raised compounded semaglutide from $133 to $165/month (+24%) and tirzepatide from $209 to $214; its advertised $99/month prepay rate is no longer published, so we no longer cite it. We had been quoting the old figure, and have corrected it everywhere it appeared.

  3. Pricing

SkinnyRx now advertises first-month prices only ($99 injectables, $149-$199 tablets) and does not publish its renewal rate. A first-month price is not a monthly price, and our provider entry now says so.

  4. Pricing

Ro medication pricing fell at the top of the range, from $149-$399 to $149-$299/month, and added an oral option (Foundayo). Membership unchanged. PlushCare and SHED re-verified unchanged; WeightWatchers gained a 6-month membership tier at $84/month.

  5. New guide

Two store-specific shopping guides: Costco (why bulk buying backfires on a smaller appetite) and Trader Joe's (why variety competes with protein).

  6. Update

Verified cancellation terms for SkinnyRx, Hims & Hers and WeightWatchers directly from their own terms pages, taking the cancellation comparison from 4 providers to 7.

  7. Update

Consolidated two pairs of duplicate comparison pages so each topic has a single canonical page.

  8. New guide

Published the GLP-1 cancellation-policy comparison — minimum terms, notice windows and refund rules read from each provider's own terms pages.

  9. New guide

New head-to-head: Ro vs Hims & Hers for GLP-1 — both now brand-name, compared on price transparency, insurance help, and trust (including the July 2026 FTC lawsuit against Hims).

  10. New guide

New live 2026 price & access tracker — TrumpRx, the Medicare $50/month Bridge program, the oral Wegovy pill, and manufacturer-direct self-pay prices, all sourced and dated.

  11. Tool

New: an all-in GLP-1 cost calculator — add membership, medication, labs, consult, and shipping to see your true monthly and year-one cost.

  12. New guide

New guide on GLP-1 maintenance and stepping down — what the trials show about staying on vs. stopping, and the honest evidence gap on tapering.

  13. Tool

New: a preference-based Provider Match tool and an Insurance Call Script generator.

  14. New guide

New hub for women over 40 — muscle, perimenopause, PCOS, and the midlife long game.

  15. Pricing

Re-verified provider starting prices (Ro, PlushCare, WeightWatchers, SHED) against official pages; each now shows its price-check date.

  16. Update

Added creatine, protein-timing, and body-composition guides to the muscle-preservation cluster.

  17. New guide

Published the muscle-preservation pillar: how to protect lean mass while losing weight on a GLP-1.
